These terms govern your use of TrackYourPenny (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TrackYourPenny helps you understand your personal finances by letting you upload bank statements you already have and categorising the transactions. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis during an early-access beta and may change, break, or be unavailable from time to time.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • upload data you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to breach or probe the security or isolation of the Service;
  • use the Service to break any applicable law; or
  • resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

4. Your data

Your financial data remains yours. We process it to provide the Service as described in our privacy policy. You can export your data and delete your account at any time.

5. AI features

The Service includes AI-assisted features that make suggestions. These are aids, not advice. Nothing is written to your records without your explicit confirmation, and you are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before accepting it. The Service does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice.

6. Pricing and payments

The Service is free during the beta. Paid plans may be introduced later; if so, pricing and payment terms will be presented clearly before any charge, and no amount will be charged without your consent.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackYourPenny is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information shown by the Service. Always verify important figures against your official bank records.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
